Thanks! I think its my favorite painting so far, because it was very lose and quick to paint ^_^
I think I can express more emotion with the quicker paintings.

Another impressively executed painting by Mimi-chan-00.
In this one, I enjoy how you slowly fade away the detail the further you get from the face and arms. The brushstrokes get more loose and it gives the painting a much more expressive quality. Again, your lighting is great, and your detail on such a small canvas is something to be admired.
You are so good at noticing value in color, and I think it would be beneficial fror you to start painting larger, 3ft x 4.5 ft or something like that would give you enough room to really move and see. The skin in this one doesnt have as much play between warm and cool, but im just starting to be picky.
Again great work!

Thank for the detailed critique! I really want to start working in a bigger format, I agree. And all I can say is that I only had three hours or I would have been more detailed in my color relationships, that also explains why its so small.

Well it still looks great, I was just being picky :) Yes, as well as you paint, large would be ideal! (TIP: Wood Paneling is a million times cheaper than large stretched canvas, and with some okay gesso there is barely a distinction between the two.)

yes actually I'm just learning about that, I just bought some Gamblin ground (really expensive >_<;)
But still waaayyy cheaper than linen canvas.

I LOVE THE LIGHT IN THIS, IT'S LIKE A THIN "VERMEER" OF LIGHT THAT FLOATS AROUND THE FIGURE
